Quiet & Hopeful

grief journey.jpg

Today I feel quiet and hopeful. Thank you to all of you who poured energy into turning the tides in America so that love, inclusion, possibility and unity become our focus. Thank you to everyone working to find ways to best navigate a global pandemic-- the researchers working 24/7, the healthcare workers risking their lives, the teachers trying to find creative ways to engage students, the parents doing their best to balance work with caring for and guiding their kids.

Our nation is grieving-- those that wanted 45 to remain in office are grieving; those that have been harmed by his bullying are grieving; our government has been shredded by greed, self-interest, immaturity and miscommunication. There is so much work to do to rebuild trust between neighbors, communities, politicians & their constituents, countries-- and all of this requires grieving.

How do we feel our grief and heal, together?

I believe vulnerability and openness are the answer. Along with fearless communication coming from integrity and a deep desire to build a world that works for everyone.

My grief journey is how I'm traversing this landscape-- I've learned so much from our conversations here. My commitment to you is to continue to share how grief is alchemizing within me in hopes that you will find gems, tools, and inspiration that you need for your own journey.
