What are you grieving right now?

What are you grieving right now? Name five things--

I'll start:

1) It's obvious that I'm grieving the loss of my son, but I'm also grieving our future together (in the physical form), the loss of getting to see him blossom, find a partner, bring his friends into my life.

2) I grieve the fogginess of my brain, my decreased energy, and the loss of focus in my life

3) I am mourning the loss of personal contact-- I miss hugs, gatherings, eating out, seeing clients in person, being in my therapist's office, travel and so much more.

4) I grieve that almost half the voters in our country voted for a man with zero moral integrity, who has less maturity than a toddler and cares nothing about the disaster he continues to make, incite and promote.

5) I grieve for all the small businesses that have shuttered or suffered so immensely from the pandemic, from protests and from political and global upheaval.

Your turn....
